Who has watched an NBA game and actually paid attention to the court design? Probably very few, but of course I am one of the people who cares. So when I saw that the Toronto Raptors had a new court design I took a look expecting more of the same boringness. At first my assumptions were correct until I noticed the Raptors type underneath the baskets. What the heck are they doing there? Did someone hit the stretch awkwardly key accidentally?

Nope, it’s not an error, it’s illusionary brilliance. Checkout how it looks on tv:

Very very cool and a great use of optical illusion. This work comes from a company out of Denmark called LogoPaint (www.logopaint.com). I for one, am impressed.

Turn 2 just helped out our friends at the Salt Lake office of R&R Partners with some of the interactive components of their Metrolinks Rocks campaign. For the Orange County Transportation Authority, Turn 2 took their fun illustrative campaign and translated it to a web design. Check it out!

After months of work the Turn 2 website is finally up. Also, this blog is up and running. What’s going to be posted here? New project work, news, and sometimes opinions on the world of design and the such. But, mostly just pretty pictures.
